Airway-Focused Dentistry for Adults

At our office, we believe that how you breathe affects every aspect of your health. Our airway-focused approach identifies and treats the oral factors that impact sleep, oxygen flow, and energy — helping patients experience deeper rest, greater focus, and improved overall wellness.

Our approach to airway is collaborative and integrative. We work hand-in-hand with medical and wellness providers. It's a whole-health approach to dentistry that goes beyond aesthetics.

Airway-focused treatment can lead to

deeper sleep, greater energy, and long-term relief from jaw tension, fatigue, and breathing issues.

What we evaluate as part of our initial airway exam:

  • Sleep study results

  • Bite

  • Neck alignment

  • Ability to nasal breathe

  • Signs of sleep disordered breathing

  • Signs of allergies

  • Oral restrictions (i.e. tongue tie)

  • TMJ health

Adult Treatment Options

  • Night sky filled with stars and some clouds near the horizon.

    Oral Appliance Therapy

Custom oral appliances gently position the lower jaw forward to improve airflow, reduce snoring and sleep interruptions at night.

  • A clear dental retainer on a bright red background.

    Candid Clear Aligners

Functional orthodontics can support airway health in adults by aligning the teeth and jaws in a way that improves tongue position, facial balance, breathing and long-term stability.
